| Welcome to the site of Danish economist Niels Arne Dam.
I am currently Chief Economist and Executive Director of Analysis at Finance Denmark.
Prior to this, I worked eleven years as a goverment official and as a central banker at Danmarks Nationalbank. My last position before joining Finance Denmark was as Head of Division at the Danish Ministry of Finance with responsibility for the government's official short-term forecasts for the Danish economy.
Academically, I hold a BSc, MSc and PhD in Economics from my alma mater, the University of Copenhagen.
Additionally, I have earned a MSc with Distinction in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics.
Finally, two semesters of my PhD programme was spent as a visiting graduate student at Princeton University.
